Our eight-step rug washing process mirrors the traditional river-wash methods of the East, updated for safety and control in our climate-regulated facility:
Pre-Inspection
We begin with a thorough inspection of your rug’s condition, fibers, construction, and dye stability. This allows us to identify areas of concern and recommend any specialized treatments.
Dust Removal
Rugs can harbor several pounds of dust and debris deep within the pile. Our industrial dusting floor uses gentle vibration to remove this dry soil without damaging the fibers.
Gentle Soaking & Hand Cleaning
Based on fiber type and condition, we apply a gentle, pH-balanced solution and hand-clean both sides of the rug. This lifts soil, allergens, and embedded contaminants while preserving texture and dye vibrancy.
Pure Water Rinse
We rinse the rug repeatedly with cool, clear water, top to bottom, front and back, until the water runs completely clean. This critical step prevents residue buildup and fiber damage.
Controlled Extraction

Final Inspection & Finishing
